CPD Compliance is Essential to Maintain Your Accreditation
Continuing professional development (CPD) is a critical requirement for maintaining your accreditation. It ensures that accredited individuals stay up to date with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Accreditation signifies competency, ongoing learning, and adherence to professional standards—failure to meet CPD requirements may result in suspension of your accreditation.
Earlier this year, the AS/NZS 4777.1:2024 standard was updated to improve the safety and efficiency of inverter energy system installations. The changes became mandatory in February this year. Under the SAA Scheme, all accreditation holders need to understand the standard changes to ensure their installations comply with the new standard.
Accreditation holders have until 1 July to complete one of the course options on AS/NZS 4777.1:2024 to maintain their accreditation. We strongly encourage everyone who still needs to complete this training to get it done as soon as possible to avoid accreditation suspensions.
In addition to completing the training, CPD points will go toward the annual CPD cycle. For those who have already completed their 100 points for this cycle, their points will be put towards the next cycle.
📣 Please note, we are currently experiencing a high volume of CPD enquiries. Urgent requests are being prioritised, but please allow 5 business days for points to appear in your SAA Portal. Thank you for your patience!
